The housing market in Fineview and Perry Hilltop is changing: over the last decade more than 25% of homes became too expensive for most households to afford. The Five-Year Affordable Housing Plan identified as set of goals, strategies and actions for preserving and expanding residential affordability, supporting and benefiting the existing community, and preventing resident displacement.

Working with the Perry Hilltop and Fineview Citizens Councils, our consultant team provided expertise in the areas of urban design and real estate, while also developing a plan for organizational sustainability.

 Key recommendations included working with the City of Bridges Community Land Trust on a pilot project, and focusing investment and development efforts into three targeted Focus Areas, with good access to public transit, where mixed-use and multi-family residential could be developed.
