Initiated by the Students-in-Action (SIA) at Brownsville High School and with tremendous foundation support, Snowdon Square Stage and Park is a dynamic complement to Brownsville’s revitalization efforts. Studio fSP worked with RACF and the students to salvage local trusses, columns and stone to be repurposed into a performance stage set within the downtown park. The stage design mimics the historic cast iron bridge’s detailing providing an iconic image as hte Snowdon Square’s backdrop.
Studio fSP was the lead for schematic design through construction administration of the project, developing the stage and park design, both of which were be completed late 2016.
